Bike Trip Planning 2010 - Gap and WV

So see attachment and let me know who's interested in going with with me.

I'll make the room reservations, plan the trip, haul your bike.

You just need to pay the deposit to me, show up and have fun.

I'm doing 4 trips this summer. I have 3 spots on the trailer (I'm not doing the 5 bike thing anymore it's a pain in the ass).

So please post up your interest for which trips. I'll list you as tenative, clear the dates with the road captains and eventually give you a date for the downpayment. I want to get the rooms reserved ASAP.

I used 4 as the number for each trip.

REDLINE MEMBERS ONLY for now but I posted in the general forum here so if there's some open spots left I'll open it up to everyone.

So you would be driving and trailering separate I assume? Unless she wants to sit on someone's lap? (wouldn't advise this with the usual group that goes on these things. lmao)

Pencil me in for the June Deal's Gap trip. Not 100% sure if I will drive separately in the Cobalt again, but that shouldn't affect your planning unless you start running out of room in the truck for passengers.

Am also on the fence for the SBC rally; can you get more details on the trip cost breakdown?

Yeah the burb...that would work too!

With 4 bikes and 4 people with everyone's stuff it's 10-12 mpg...11 might be a better number to use but 10 provides a good worst case scenario for planning purposes. I used $2.63 a gallon because that's about the average price around here.

Addl trailers and people joining is awesome...but I'm trying to plan for people who want to go with me. 4 people, 4 bikes, 2 rooms. I'll make the reservations and trailering accommodations. Who's interested.

If it's just gonna be me then it's a bike in the back of the truck with a ramp...done. But there's enough guys who have been on these trips that know what's up now so...I doubt it'll just be me.

Similar costs for fuel as the other Gap trip. The room is a little more I think it's in the 80's but...overall the cost of the trip will be similar when it's all said and done.

These gap motels are turning into nazi's now and will steal your deposits if you cancel so...trying to make sure there's enough interest before taking the plunge and setting stuff up for everyone and then taking it in the ass when everyone backs out is all.
