Well got my bike down to louisville, ky to have it looked at. As suspected blown head gasket shot valves. Guy luckily has been cranking on it since wednesday. He port and polished, skimmed the head and jug resealed cleaned up the head also. Figured why he had it go ahead strip all the ABS crap out of it. Forums peoplehave said 3-4 hours to swap brake lines and a lot lot easier with engine out. Guy went ahead and stripped more street stuff out to try and lighten it up.

Hes going heat cycle and break it all back in on the dyno might get a cpl more hp out of it.

Merry xmas to me i guess till i pick it up on my home end of next week and i have actually pay for it all

Seriously though. Why did it melt down? Just from wringing it out at the track?

Got bike back and home from the dirty souf! New braided lines, chain|sprocket, ported and polished motor , skimmed head new vlvs and gaskets, about 8lbs stripped out of it, touch up tune nabbed another hp and ft lb lol balling right around 43 hp. Went down a tooth maybe hit that 116mph down the grattan straight.

Pretty cool dealership little out of the way. The mechanic was just finishing up a duc 1098r with a full titanium frame entirely rebuilt motor. Guy said with bike the owner was about 115k into it.
