Unhappy Electrical Problem???? HELP!!!!

damn this bike .
I finally get the oil plug thing fixed and a new battery so I decide to ride to work today. I get to the corner just down the street from my parking lot when the bike died on me. all the lights went out, no speedo...WTF. It's only about 25miles to work from my house. how the hell could the battery go dead that quick??? I had the stator, battery and the rectifier replaced a couple years ago. I just bought a new battery and now this crap is happening again. Any ideas????

I hate electrical gremlins, no advice except to take it to someone to fix.

Doubtful it would be the battery if everything just died suddenly, like turning off a switch.
If everything died slowly, like a battery draining down, then a battery issue would be something to look at.

Fuses ok? Check them all carefully.
Battery cables on tight and cables not damaged?

As you say, electrical problems are a pain and often take alot of work to repair.

start with checking cables, then get a volt meter and a case of beer, if that doesnt work try a bottle of scotch, it will all be fixed by the AM.
