i would be more worried about the bike...iphone apple care is 150 for a replacement...screen replacements are 150.

go pro hd with no other features is like 240....

its probably a break even. not many people lose go pros so if this mount system they sell works out i wouldnt be worried...id put it behind windscreen anyways

do you know what it costs for the legit dash cams with an interface similar to this one? alot, i know this because at one point i thought about getting one, then i thought i may be able to make my own...then i got lazy and did nothing about it.

also, if you had insurance on a phone then your loss would be at least 100.00 less if you lost an iphone than a gopro hd with a big memory card. just sayin

It's not just about the money, make sure you back up before heading out.

If you really want it to look cool, get the ZP dashboard (android) and run the HUD over the camera feed. Record video, watch and enjoy.
