Planet Fitness

Curious if anyone here has a membership and what their thoughts are on the place? I need to join a cheap gym and think they meet the bill.

I joined Snap Fitness, they fit the bill with 24 hour unattended locations.

I go there and it suits my needs. I think the $10 price tag if you only go to one location without the fancy tanning option (other perks included in that) should be right up your alley Steve.

I just like to go and work out and not be bothered by someone trying to sell me training packages or smoothie mix.

$10 a month and then a $39 annual fee around February. Gym is usually clean and the equipment usually works or gets fixed in a reasonable amount of time. You get all kinds of people working out there with that cheap rate. It can get quite crowded, and January sucks with the new holiday resolution crowd, which burns out by March.

I'm sure cleanliness and customers vary by location. For the cost it is a good deal.
