RIDE: Maumee River Ride, Saturday July 7, 2012-10:00AM

Hello All,

Looks like that time of year again for the Maumee River Ride along the Maumee River in Ohio from Toledo to Napolean with lunch at Tony Packo's.

Meeting up at the Pilot Truck Stop at I75 and Nadeau Road, Exit 18 (Remember to use the midde entrance the left and right entrances are for trucks).

Saturday July 7, 2012

Kickstands up at 10:00AM.

We will take backroads from the truck stop through Monroe and Toledo before getting to the scenic stuff outside Perrysburg.

Break stop at Mary Thurman Park and then on to the photo op at the big Campbell's soup can in Napolean. Then we head back along the north side of the river.

ALL are welcome.

Rain or preferrably shine event.

Hope you can make it!

Regards,
Steve

Thought I bring this to the top for a minute, as a reminder.

One month away.

I'm not sure if I'll be in on this ride yet. It was fun last time around though!

Here's a pic of the bikes and the can:

If you go, I recommend bringing a kickstand puck with you. As you can see, this is a lawn so I was worried about the bike(s) falling over. They didn't, but you never know...

Yea, and Ohio has a "Drive-thru" Beer store, like Detroit has titty bars and churches on every corner!
