RF-1000 is a great helmet and I hear the RF-1100 is even better.

Aria helmets models are for specific head shapes. If you buy an Aria, have STG fit you. Are the "cracks" on your RSR coming from around the vent? The vents are screwed into the shell (I dissected the RSR Kristen dropped), and the cracks are probably just superficial in the gel coat, but if it worries you, then by all means replace it.

well goddamn if eric wasnt motherfucking right!

i went there with the idea of buying the corsair v jolly roger....tried it on...MEH....

tried on an rf-1000......i came in my pants. this helmet was fucking sex, for me its even more comfortable than my rsr2. so then i am like....give me the x11.....it was pretty damn good as well....but it seemed to fit on my head strange..like it was bolted to my ears. i ended up with this:

here is the vector web that tom ended up buying:

Nice kawie and I have the rf1000 and love them to
all of the ones you were looking at are gear just a matter of fit. I myself won't buy a shark if they are having gel coat cracking issues

yea, it turns out its just the gel coat cracking...but still. anyways...side by side the rf-1000 fits amazing...and the awesome part is that the shields are cheap as hell (my sharks are 75+)

any experience with the pinlock shields?
