Emergency info

*edit for better link*

I found this Helmet ID the other day, and my first thought was that this would probably be a smart thing to add to my helmet. Since most of us wear various layers of gear, an EMT being able to locate a wallet is really not an option, and even with my Road ID, they would have to pull off my glove to find it on my wrist, whereas this thing should be very obvious, especially next to a DO NOT REMOVE HELMET sticker, which I think may be just as important.

That is a good idea. Although motorcycle gear doesn't pose much of a problem for a Medic to get through, this would make things much easier, and would save valuable time in a serious trauma situation.

I was thinking more of someone trying to locate my normal ID (wallet) in my gear, which they wouldn't because it usually isn't there... and yes, I've seen what scissors can do to leathers in the hands of a skilled EMT.

I like this idea a lot and I think this is more practical for most than the dog tags you've been wanting to do. If you want to pursue this for the club I'd be all for it.

I ordered a couple of these. The dog tag was more of a trinket to replace the Club ID, whereas I believe these are a functional item. I'll post up a review after I receive them .
