slicks are only about 30.00 more than the pr's i bought. so i figured why not. plus i ran the shit outa the pr's today and loved every lap of them.

I've only run one set, and they have since sold out. I don't believe anyone but STG even gets slicks from Michelin, but you can try and see if anyone else has any.

thx chris. you going to midO on the 29th? also, i just wanna try some slicks. i know i might not be faster w/them, but i ran the hell outa the pr this weekend at grattan. ask Jane. 100% better than the last time i was out. except i hate the gixxer gearbox. its sloppy!!! maby you can give me some pointers on it.

Sorry, no slicks. I stay on the PRC/PR5 combo. They have the new tires out now even though most people can't get them yet

jb, how does the pr5 i got from you and my new med compound differ when im on the track?

The medium compound is a little softer and won't last quite as long. Still a very good track day tire though

ok, cool. one more thing. since my last trackday at grattan sunday, i noticed some cupping/feathering on the left side of the tread (left of center). wonder what caused that? its only on the left side of the tire.

Could be wrong tire pressure or suspension. Kind of wierd to have it on the left side at Grattan

24psi and scott set the suspension at L7. the bike feels GREAT!!!! absolutely trust 100% in the tires and bike. im gonna try out 31f and 22r at mid ohio. everyone keeps tossing those pressures out to me.
