Probably because I owed an 83' that I'm a little skepticle. maybe you're right - people are dragging these old bikes out of the back of their garages and trying to sell at a premium b/c of high gas prices.
New they could be had for $2500 otd. Mine got sold for $900 15 yrs ago.

My 83' also was the first yr of the 2 muffler design that carried through to 84 and 85'. Unless they updated the Nighthawk mid year in 83' or something, the 4 pipe design was last seen in 82'. :dunno:

I bought my 82 CB650 otd for 1650.00. That wasn't even a Nighthawk just a UJM with lace up wheels.
