Any interest in an Eastside Loop Ride for Sunday Morning. Probably meet at the National @ M-53 and Hall for a 9 AM departure. This means if you plan on eating you should get there 45 minutes earlier.

Parts would be, some parts new, will have to see. Let me know if you're in/out, maybe, a duner, etc. If there is enough interest, I will do this loop. If no interest, I'm thinking maybe head over to the west side.

Why does it always have to be so early??? I don't allow myself to operate a bike that early, especially a Sunday morning after a night a the bar.

I get up @ 4 am during the week, I hardly consider a 9 am departure early. With traffic, and temps, if you don't get out and get the ride in early, sometimes may as well not go.:2cents:
Also, if you don't go to the bar, your track bike fund can grow faster

How long do you think the ride will take? My parental units are coming into town, so I have to make sure I'm back before they get here.

Nelson, the route I have planned I'd have to guess would take about 2-1/2-3 hrs. If you need it to be shorter, I could let you know of a good spot to break off and head back.

Is this ride still a go or is every one going on the west side loop? As much as I'd like to join you for breakfast, a 9am departure is a bit too early for me coming from lapeer. I'd probably meet up with you guy's in Romeo.
If not, I'll head over for the west side ride. Nate led a good ride last weekend.
See you guy's some where tomorrow.

Ride is still a go, I will personally have your screen name changed for this Gary. You can meet us in route if you like, but we won't be going through Romeo. Meet us in Oxford if you would like, we should be cruising through about 9:45. We'll be going down Orion Rd to Lapeer Rd, then a right in Oxford on Lakeville rd headed to Lakeville.

That timing should be perfect. Not sure if anyone else is grabbing breakfast, but I'll get there around 8:15AM for some grub. See you then.

I'm in. If you dont see me at breakfast, look for me as you make the right hander out of oxford onto lakeville rd. No need to stop and chat, I'll just follow up the rear.

Today's ride was a lot of fun guys - just wish I didn't have to bail early. Next time, I'll stick around for the whole thing.

The weather was perfect, I didnt see this thread til today or I might have met up. I did a loop from 3:30 til about 7, The traffic sucked heading north, but caught a break in lakeville and got through the curves with nobody in front of us.Then it was pretty smooth sailing. Yesterday was the first time I have been on M-136 since they repaved it, and the curves seemed pretty toned down...I was kind of disappointed. Maybe I'll catch ya next time.
