Definitely one of the nicest 1KRR's I've seen, but I hope he doesn't expect to get anywhere close to 28K out of it.

It's still a Honda, and definitely not worth a fraction of what's into it :2cents:

he should have kept his stock parts, thrown back on what he could and sell the rest separately. He'd have a better chance, $28K CBR 1000RR without a "glorious" history is a pipe dream

Anyone buying a new ZX10r gets the same HP numbers right outa the box, then gets to mod it themself. I for one would not have messed with the headwork that he had done. The pcIII and ignition module could be avoided buy buying a kit ecu and a custom tune. The suspention and brakes is a sweet addition, but unless your tracking the bike, WAY overpriced. Nice bike, forget the price. :2cents:

Sold for 13,600. Why do people build these bikes and sell them? You never get what the parts you put into it cost.

sorry, but unless your using a jsb ecu and KNOW someone who has the tuning cable and software, your sol on the tune. the honda ecus have not been able to be cracked like the suzuki ecu's. so unless your ponying up 400+ for the jsb and then another 300 for the tuning cable, then having a competint(sp) dyno guy that knows how to use it, its no good.
the bike sold for a good price, imo. the ohlins forks are about 1200.00 used, the rear shock i can grab for about 750.00 used, the gold marsch wheels can be found for 1200.00, and the extra goodies add up to about the auction price. but like flip said, save the owm, and part that shit on the side.

HRC does have a kit ECU and I can tune it. They also have one for the 600. Down side is they go for about $1200. Best part is the "kit" stuff makes the dynojet stuff look like a 3rd grader designed it. The "kit" ECU's are good for 5-10hp through the entire rev range over the PC.

i knew there was another ecu out there. and ive heard nothing but good things on the honda aftermarket ecu's. also, it moves the rev limiter way up there, to the point you need to use stronger valve springs or else it will go boom after a while. and for 1200.00, id rather put some ohlins on my bike. better yet some race tech internals, ohlins rear shock and a set of rearsets and call it a day. :D
hey scott, mid ohio is calling you on tuesday :) cave in to the pressure. lol

look at the winning bidder, 1 feedback.....scammer all the way. I had a scammer win a motor I sold on ebay. As soon as he contacted me I could tell. The owner of the bike should screw with him, otherwise if he's not smart he'll be like the poor guy on the wera board that got scammed
