If nothing comes up, I usually default to running the eastside loop starting around 3pm almost every sunday. We tried it earlier two weeks ago and traffic was terrible, especially up rochester road. Just a thought...

somehting starting in the AM works the best anyway (like 10am meet for breakfast at 9am).
But what does your eastside loop consist of?

Here are some of my ideas for east side loop rides I stated earlier

From my house, I head west to Rochester Rd via 32, Rochester north to Dryden Rd through Lakeville, Dryden east to Capac rd, Capac north to Belle River, Belle River east to Bordman, Bordman east to M-19, M-19 north to M-136, M-136 east to:

a: to Port Huron, and then grab M-25 South and run through and around algonac

b: to Port Huron, and then grab M-25 South and hang a right in St Clair and take Division (32 Mile) back west

c: take Abbottsford road down to Wadhams road, to Gratiot, to Rattle Run, and back to Memphis, m-19 south to School Section, and school section to Armada Ridge, to North Ave.

Any combination of rochester rd, dryden, belle river, capac, m-136, etc. Sometime just try and get lost. I have been riding these for years, and they are starting to get old, but they are close so I still ride them if I don't feel like going to the westside.

Just a suggestion: Take with grain of salt:

You are missing One Nice set of curves by going all the way to Dryden Rd., dont go that far .....
When you hit the Last set of curves 4 miles south of Dryden Rd be ready to turn onto GENERAL SQUIRES Rd. about 2.8 miles south of dryden rd.
Take Right on GENERAL SQUIRES Rd East toward Almont then continue past Almont to Capac Rd.......

even though it is only one set of curves they are nice........

About 3/4 mile east of Rochester Rd. on GENERAL SQUIRES are the One Set of Curves then down the big hill and to Almont......

GENERAL SQUIRES is about One Mile North of Hough Rd. just over the Last Hill before Dryden Rd.

Really? I didnt even know there was another road that wasn't dirt that went to Almont....duhhh. I just go to dryden because I thought it was the first road that I could go east on. Dryden east of M-53 does offer a few opportunities to open it up though!

I grew up and lived by the curves south of Dryden Rd. for almost 40 years....................

I was happy to see GENERAL SQUIRES paved because it is a shortcut to Almont from Leonard...........
