What about a place for our membership to go and give business to other members. For example, if I need a plumber or something, rather than looking in the yellow pages there may be one here. I wouldn't even know it. Me personally, I'd rather give my business to someone in my network than to some complete stranger.

But there is a dark side too...doing business with friends can sometimes suck. But I would hope that we are all upstanding people and would conduct business in a moral and ethical way.

Playing devils advocate here...I make it a policy not to do business for family and friends. When money gets involved, it's can muck things up. Which is why for my close friends and family, I do work for them at no charge if they help me or whatever. But a friend of a friend or distant cousin or something, I would charge, hence me not doing the work. I would rather not risk the relationship.

Well actually the member's area would be the place that the discount information for member's would be relayed. Since I didn't set that deal up I'm not sure what it is. I did however just get the sponsors tab up on the main page and provided Scott with a forum to post his specials and group buys to all.
