I'm guessing you're coming from the west side Jon? Tienken is 25 mile road...so its the corner of 25 mile and Rochester Road (not far from STG). If you need more detail, let me know which way you normally come out here and I'll give you specific directions

I would join you guys but I'm in North Carolina working till the end of the week. When we go on this ride again, I'll have to show you some good roads through Ruby. Or you can look them up yourself & check them out.

Ruby sounds good but it might be better for a Saturday morning rather than a late afternoon/evening ride.

They dont offer loaners?

OK... who is in for this?

7:00 leaving at 7:15P come fueled up and ready to rock. There is a Marathon and a Speedway on the other side of the street and a couple Sunoco's on Rochester Road if you are heading north from downtown Rochester. Watch out for Po's in Rochester as well

You know, when I was there getting the 600 mile service last week, they let me borrow a 1098 for a little bit to go get something to eat.

Myself, Jane, and a friend of mine named Don who just picked up his first bike last week (98 f3) will be there :ridin: Take it easy on him :squid2:

I'm still tenative for the ride. I have a meeting from 5-6pm which I'm guessing is going to extend after 6. I'll never make it on time if the meeting goes late. If I get out in time, I'll be there. If not, enjoy the ride ladies and gents :ridin:

Thinking about the usual Lake Orion - Oxford - Lakeville - Dryden loop maybe ending at BW3 on 26 Mile.

That ok Cheney?

I did that one last night, not that we can't do it again, but I have an alternate suggestion. Orion to Lapeer, Lapeer to Clarkston Rd, M-15 North, Seymour Lake back to Lapeer Rd. There is a B W 3 on Lapeer rd between Orion and Lakeville Rd if you still wanna do that, but BW3 has gotten kinda cheap, wait, I mean WAY cheap with their portions :wtf:

Anyway, that's my :2cents:

I would prefer to stay closer to home in case i get the "call". BW3 was just a suggestion if anyone wants to grab some grub after. Hamlin Pub is around the corner from there

Clarkston is no further away than Dryden, and is closer to a freeway.

If we do end up doing the dryden loop, then my vote is for the Golden Buddha in Romeo:drool:

Really, it's no big deal if you guys want to head that way... i googled the map and it looks interesting but i'll have to hold out for another day to get out that way. There arent that many good roads out this way and it would eventually get boring hitting the same ones over and over.

Besides, if i meet you at 7 i'll be collecting my commission on the sale of the nighthawk :hi:

Geeze, do everything my way and give me money, what are we married

We can take your boring, 3 curve, same distance away from your house as my exciting GP roadcourse, it's ok :sissy:

Here are some other ideas for rides Mike.

From my house, I head west to Rochester Rd via 32, Rochester north to Dryden Rd through Lakeville, Dryden east to Capac rd, Capac north to Belle River, Belle River east to Bordman, Bordman east to M-19, M-19 north to M-136, M-136 east to:

a: to Port Huron, and then grab M-25 South and run through and around algonac

b: to Port Huron, and then grab M-25 South and hang a right in St Clair and take Division (32 Mile) nack west

c: take Abbottsford road down to Wadhams road, to Gratiot, to Rattle Run, and back to Memhis, m-19 saouth to School Section, and school sectrion to Armada Ridge, to North Ave.
