DETROIT -- A 21-year-old Dearborn Heights man died about 11:30 p.m. last night when he lost control of his motorcycle and struck a freeway wall on the city's northeast side.
The man possessed a learner's permit and not a driver's license, Michigan State Police officials said. The crash occurred on southbound Interstate 75 at Meade Street near the Davison Freeway, police said.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash and it does not appear that drugs or alcohol were a factor, police said.
Investigators are looking into whether speed was a factor in the crash, police said.
