That's quite an inventory.

Fastlane- My fave is probably the gsxr 1000 with 185 hp and about 400 lbs its like a time warp to ride.
Motoboy- It would take way to much typing for me to do all of that! If you have a specific bike you have questions about pm me.

Thanks Walt

Its not in my garage yet, and I've learned the hard way not to count my chickens before they hatch. LOL! It is 99.9% a done deal. Thanks! And you are right, no more excuses. I almost cry every time someone posts up a loop ride. I am hoping to have it by the end of the week or early next week. I already have the insurance on it ($411.00 per year full coverage) through State Farm. I posted that, because someone will ask.

I can't wait. It is an absolutely gorgeous bike, with just about every top-of-the-line mod you can put on it. I will get a list from Walt, and post later with some detailed pics.

The gixxer decision was based solely on the fact that 3 people in our track group had that model bike (Chris, Jane, and Faye). This would make part swapping easy and convenient. Add that to the fact that I was looking for a bike already built for the track, and there you have it.

The Ducati dreams started last year when I was riding through the Blue Ridge Mountains behinf Faye and her 749. The bike sounded and looked awesome. Then, James showed up at Twisted Cycle with his 999, and I wanted one even more. Yes, to top it off, I had to fo to RO, and get a gander at the new 848. I have been looking at the Monsters for a while now, but wasn't really sure. After talking with Chris at length about the streetability of the twin engines, and Walt telling me that his was for sale, I decided to take a look at it. Once that happened, it was all over.

So yes, Chris was insturmental in my decision to buy the Ducati. I was actually going to buy his TL, but I don't think it would fit me as well.

So there you have it, the whole story. Chris is still my hero though. :squid2:

Dna,

Will probably keep the 08 and the 02 is the SE model and has about 15,000 worth of modifications on it and is extremely fast so it will not be cheap. Pm me if interested and we can talk.
