Price: $20 for Members
$25 for Non-Members
Your buy in gets you $30 in Chips, & Food. There will also be a 50/50 Raffle and a Prize Auction. There will be a cash bar also provided.

We are going to be in need of dealers so if anyone knows anyone that would be interested in being a dealer please contact me. As the original posts says we also are having an auction so if anyone has anything to donate or know any local businesses that would be able to donate anything to the raffle please let me know.
This is an open tournament so please invite anyone and everyone that might be interested please email me if you want to register any non-members that register and pay before June 14th will get in for only $20.

Is there any Interest in this?? It will help raise some money for the club..... But if there is no interest i will just cancel it.

I talked to a buddy of mine. I know that he and his brother, brother-in-law and father-in-law may be interested. I'd be interested too.

I'm definitely interested...but I think we need to generate interest outside of the club with perhaps a flier like the one they were trying to give us yesterday in Lansing.

btw... its a little ways out but I think I might be able to attend. I will talk to some buddies of mine and see if they also want to be involved
ok i will work on a flyer..... no one had responded so.... anyhow ill get to work on it than invite everyone this could really help the club if we get alot of peeps there. Webb needs that new club toy hauler and camper so lets help him out......

Don't look at it as gambling... All you are doing it giving money for the cause... At least I do... Gambling would be if I actually won something.

I have to agree...I can't help but donate everytime I try and gamble...but I'll be there to donate some more. Hey Flip how many can that place hold??

Yeah, I already have a seat reserved myself. I think it right next to the red guy himself. I am constantly looking for trap doors.

It is there - has been for a while now unless you can't see it as a non-member, but I doubt that.

I have posted the flyer on the WOS forum as well as emailed it to all my poker buddies. I will definitely be there Saturday for the poker game. Looking forward to slinging some cards.

To be honest Steve I'm not sure, It could be 5 or 100 there are alot of maybes. I'm hoping we have a great turn out we could raise alot of money for the club and we have the whole place rented out so we have it to ourselves for the night. I'm hoping that guys or girls that dont want to play will still come down and support the group and hang out with us. And yes it is co-ed so bring the women too!

I'll be there, do you know how secure the parking will be?
its a gated in parking lot and as far as i know have not had any problems and if your riding we will have some spot set aside next to the door for you.

I am coming down with a buddy, he will be playing i will be hanging out.
Its like 2 blocks north of the bridge on fort st. on the river.
best directions are 94 to lodge. lodge south to howard st exit. stay on service(dont turn on howard) till it dead ends into fort st. make a right on fort its down about a 1 1/2 on the left 2281 is the addy

Alright crew I'm hoping for a great turn out tonight be a great chance to catch up and have some fun! If you don't play cards that is fine also it will be $10 for food and you can hang and party with us all. I know we got some guys from wos coming and some family and friends so it should be a great time!

Great event tonight guys and girls. Great location. Great to meet everyone. Looking forward to doing it again soon.
Next time though I am going to try not to play using Headlight's Strategy. I even taped a sticky note to the steering wheel to read on the way downtown "MP stick to the basics don't play shit hands or play hands waiting for cards to come". So much for that. Still trying to figure out how I thought pocket 7s beat a pair of 8s that I knew is what the other person had.

i would definitely attend it as frequent as i could if you made it a regular thing or monthly or bi-monthly or whatever..
I would love to put this on more often we just need some more peeps to show up. we only had 10 players and its hard to have the whole bar with only 10 guys. so if we get some more interest I would love to put more on I had a great time. And Im sure lucky would love some more "Easy Money" to join the game.:hi:

i can see if i can get some people together.. let me know what dates you are thinking..
maybe you do some drawings for gear, trackdays, tires, shit like that.. - i.e. a track day costs $150 - you take 1 deck of cards and sell 52 cards @ $5 each = $260.. anyone that gets in and buys like $5-$20 in cards gets a great deal.. each person draws their card(s), the card(s) are ripped in half with the person buying keeping 1/2 and the seller keeping the other 1/2..
another idea i have is guarantee a $500 first prize - that is 20 people @ $25 each..
also could have like a craps table, blackjack, roulette, cash poker games going as side games.. gives people the option of joining the tournament or just playing what they are comfortable with on the side games.. or the option of the people that don't know when to say when of getting in a side game after they go all in on pocket 7s and get knocked out of the tourney..
play some motogp or motorcycle related movies on the tvs to attract those that don't want to play but want to hang out..
i don't know just some ideas..
great ideas mud will try and get some together we have to watch cash games the goverment isnt fond of any of this and it puts the bar at risk but i do like your thoughts.

yeah it is borderline blind pig at that point and we don't want to do anything to put the bar at risk, etc. i will throw it around to everyone i know and see what other ideas we can generate as well..
