anyone up for a ride tomorrow (sat 6/14)? sunday is going to be a wash out.
im bringing a fresh newbie. he is a coworker of mine who just bought a busa. he has previous seat time, but on a harley and cruiser. looking to possibly hit up commerce rd, and the surounding roads around there. nothing too fast paced, a nice leisurely ride (if thats possible, lol). he doesnt get off of work untill 3pm, and we would probably either meet at my work or somewhere close to it around that time.
lemme know and we can work out the details.

You might want to re-think your route. If not, you will be dodging downed trees and power lines after today's storms. Storms are ripping through all of the prime riding areas. Be careful.

I'm up for riding on Saturday. But like Jon said, the area might not be very good after the storms rage through . . . . again. Give me a call. 810-278-1700.

I spoke to a guy at our Almont plant, and he said nothing much happened up there, but the day is still young, and there is a huge cell headed our way.

We didn't get to do the full route as it got sort of late, but it is pretty decent - especially for the east side. Definitely something you can do in a couple of hours with or without other people. Mike (aka Steve) and I are hoping to get a ride like that going every Wednesday, but that won't happen for me for at least a couple of weeks. Mike will be out of commission with baby duty soon, so here's hoping we get it going before then.

It's cool, he was just messing with you. His name is Mike...the route was good..I live in the area so I've ridden it several times...nice roads, not a lot of cars, and its close to a lot of us.

LOL no problem man! I was just messing with you.
Route was good, looking to expand it a bit to almost 70 miles ending at bdubs or something on 26 mi and M-53.

Excellant.... rides on this side of town would be frickin great, especially for the east siders and even better if we can do it weekly....AA is awesome...but it's such a haul both ways...just having another avenue on occasion kicks ass. :deathmetal:

I would like to join you guys, but the bike is down right now. It should be up and running in a couple of weeks. I work in the 26 & Mound area, so I could meet right after work.
