View Full Version : Fuel Capacity Question
My dad has a 1984 Honda Shadow 700 and is trying to find out the fuel capacity of it. I have done a lot of searches on the net and have come up empty. Does anyone have any idea of the fuel capacity of this bike? Both the gas tank and reserve tank??
run it dry than fill it! lol:loser:

I was cracking up. I knew you didn't mean it to be a dick. You and I were on the same page. It was funny though.

Unlike the other 2 dicks... I really do have an answer that gets close to what you are asking...
BTW I was kidding about the Dicks part... I say that so we don't start a :sissy: (love the new smilies :tank:)
The VT750C'84 Shadow 750 was sold in 1984. The backrest was standard equipment. The side cover decal read "SHADOW 750".
Engine: 749cc, liquid-cooled, 45° V-twin with new offset dual-pin crankshaft providing perfect primary balance
Cylinder Heads: Three-valve twin plug cylinder heads
Valves: Hydraulic Valve Adjuster system
Transmission: 5-speed plus overdrive sixth speed
Ignition: Solid state ignition with electronic advance
Drive: Shaft
Wheelbase: 1525mm (60.0 in)
Seat height: 760 mm (29.9 in.)
Fuel capacity: 12.5 liters (3.3 gal.)
Weight: 211 kg (465 lb)
The serial number began JH2RC140*EM000018.
Not sure if these were ever brought into the US. It may have been a case where it was ready for the U.S. but due to the tariff it never made it here. I do believe this model existed as a Canadian model though

I love it!!! This is a typical thread! Everyone calling everyone else out, but in a total joking way.
You know, if people didn't know all of our relationships here. They might just think we all hate each other.
This is great!
Thanks Marc
