I have no idea whats best for the 'street'. Lots of highway, lite to heavy cornering..........

What do you all run? I was looking at Dunlop 616 and B-ston 012. Not sure what will be the best buy considering cornering on road (no track) and highway..........

Bridgestone 14 is a little stiff. Had the 12ss on there and the handling felt funny. Have qualifiers on there now...stick like glue...good ride and compliance...feedback is also very good.

what kind of bike did you get?

Check with jane if she can get pilot roads or something... if you are just looking for street tires i might have a set you can burn off, the rear will need a plug though

I didn't get one...... Figured I will let this motor blow up then get one.....

I was also looking at the 14's. Aren't qualifiers more soft? Need a stiff middle and soft adges. Just not track soft......

Mike, thanks, I don't want to burn em' off...... I'd like to get a new set to last the rest of the bikes life. Hopefully another year.

I sent Nick an email - don't have Jane's STG email.

Thanks guys.

I'd recommend the pilot power 2ct. They have the dual compound that you're looking for. Had qualifiers on my gixxer before, and they slipped on me a couple times, but the 2ct's have worked like a charm.

I was changing the rear tire (PP HPX) about every 3K or so, sometimes less.
Oh well.

Ok cool.....I have 6300 on the stock rear right now and it looks like I have another 1500 to 2000 left in it.......I did get 8200 on my 03 stock Busa tire ...
Thank you web.
I hope your doing better all the way around soon.
