Just wanted to share a little info with the group. I recently had four_by_ken (Ken) powder coat some odd and ends for my bike and wanted to say thank you publicly to him. The 2 day turn around was greatly appreciated :thumb2: so as not to lose any riding time and the quality of the work was more then I could have anticapated. Thanks Ken....we will be doing the rims in the winter. :)

Like I said I just had some odds and ends done. I know some peeps like to lose the heat shield on the side by I wanted to keep it yet make it blend in a little better. I will probably pick up an "07" swingarm on ebay or something..they are already black. The pics don't do the quaility of the coating justice. :D

Nice work. What type of prep do folks generally have to do on OEM parts and/or painted parts prior to sending them to you? I don't have anything specific, just more for curiosity's sake. My brother had his GSXR's frame and swing-arm powdercoated this year, and it's beautiful! Wish I had a good pic of it.

Thanks!

For the most part... nothing. I prefer to do it myself. That way I am sure of the entire process and feel better giving my guarantee.

I just ask that everything is completely degreased.... thats about it.

Just had Ken do a few parts for my 08 Busa, They turned out great and matched perfectly!
I highly recomend Ken for any projects that require powder coating. The price and turnaround time was GREAT,:deathmetal:
