What length of rides do you prefer....on average?
How much seat time?
Not from start till re-fuel or break, but from begining of ride to end.
Try to be honest. This is not a hard core rider search.
I know some people prefer to have some of the day remaining to do stuff with the gf or odds and ends at home...
Some people prefer to ride till dark...and some have oddball work hours....ect.
Post up how long you like your rides and why if needed.
2 hours?
3 hours?
4 hours?
6 hours?
more?:hi:

4 to 5 hours and 2 to 3 stops. Stops include meeting up with everyone and stoping to refill and say goodbye to everyone. So only one stop during the ride. The 4 to 5 hours is leaving the house and return time.

I would say 3 - 4 hours with 1 stop. Depends on the riding though. I don't mind stoping more often to check stuff out, but hate stopping so people can smoke, that irritates me.

Same here...maybe longer with additional stops?? I really think it depends on the weather, place, other riders as well as the event itself...this past weekend for instance..6 hours with 1 food stop and 2-3 fuel stops just about tapped me out.... then 4 more hours to get back home in less then ideal weather....crazy...but watching the track rats rip up Mid Ohio was worth it...just wouldn't want to do that on a weekly basis.

4-5 hours with one stop for fuel and food. I simply dont get to ride as much as I'd like to and stopping all the time gets pretty boring. I wanna ride not pose.

I like 4 to 5 hours rides with several stops. Im a smoker, so stopping every hour is good for me :) plus a stop for food. my friends hate riding with me, except for the smoking friends LOL

I like the 4 - 5 hour rides with stops for 2-3 stops for fuel and food. You should meet at a gas station, or assure that every rider is fueled up before the ride starts. Then ride for an hour or two, stop to stretch. Then ride hard for 2 hours then stop and eat. Then ride for an hour or two and stop for gas. Then blaze home. Sometimes the ride home on the expressway is the most fun. :vtr2::transport-029::th_Squid-Rider:
Some unconditioned riders cannot ride the saddle for two hours at a time, especially in big groups. But if you are a small group of like riders (experienced), then I'm all about the iron butt rides. Often times you get the people on rides that don't post up often but want to ride and meet new people. They may not feel comfortable with their gear, the route, the weather. So a few stops to kick the tires and refresh everyone on the ride plan is a good thing.
