Well I had my opportunity to actualy ride the TL today. Thank you honey. Here is my review..................

DAMN

It is a pretty wicked bike. I had to ride it to work since all the Ducati guys were going to be there and chris's TL says "one liter duc eater" on it. Very smooth shifts, definitly low end torque monster. Suspension feels a little mushy. It doesn't have the sharp turn-in like the gsxr and R6 but it also isn't a 600. Smooth shifting. Was pulling onto M53 and hit the throttle but I was at 8000rpm and the bike was sluggish. Shift up a gear and bring the rpms down and the power kicks in. Complete opposite of a 600.

A big baller bike.:thumb2:

Were you able to tell how many miles on a tank you got? I thouhgt I heard that there was a small tank on them? And they dont get the best mileage. I dont really care too much about the mileage... but I just dont want to have to stop every 100 miles, or less, when on a trip.

I really like these bikes.

You can get approximately 140 miles on a tank of city driving if my memory serves me. The fuel light goes on a little early on these as well.

I currently have a Power commanded / piped DL 1000 and I sold my TL 1000 last season...

I did a ton of work to that TL and it was pushing 127 Hp, and it ripped my dam arms out of socket more than once WOOT for twins !

The TL 1000 is a nice bike. I know someone that has one and he likes his.

Stop teasing me Lucky, does the girl mod come with it instead of the rear seat cowl?

I've always liked twins on sportbikes. And that TL is bad ass. Chris really took good care of it...nothing I've encountered sounded anything like my duc, but his TL. Almost sounded better...almost. :hi:
