Head Count/meeting times for Spectator ride to MidOhio

I am looking for a head count to see how many people will be attending the spectator ride to MidOhio this Saturday.

I will then determine departure times and so on.

Would people also let me know where they will be coming from, so I can setup the meet times.

As an examply, I know Lizzi is from up north on I-75, but I do not know where Prostreet (Mike) would be coming from.

Webb I'm in....coming from Macomb Twp 23 and Romeo Plank area...Just FYI if its pouring rain...you can count me out. Not gonna ride for hours in the rain...weather man isn't helping by the looks of things this weekend... :rant: but I'm optimistic!...besides..I think Dave is gonna be on the heels of Chris and Jon all day!! :bs: I thought that Nathan wanted to meet on 275 somewhere?? So my question is who in the hell is orchestrating this now?? :huh:

I just watched the Channel 50 weather report and they are saying a slight chance of a stray shower late Sat night into Sunday.

So, so far, so good!
When I open the garage door tomorrow morning, if no rain, we ride!

Hammer was plenty dropped...but Mother Nature Kicked my ass....I got within a 1/2 hour from home....not fun...but safe and sound...not sure if Nathan made it and Webb should have been fine..I was the farthest I believe. :hi:

You should have went Nelson...you could have squeezed in I believe...but it was awesome..fast track..and big....but fun was had by all with the exception of the last 40 minutes of the ride home. 10 hours in the saddle is a bit much in one day...I won't walk right for a few.

Yeah, like I said before, I knew there would be a spot if I didn't go and there wouldn't be one if I went - just my luck I suppose. Glad you had a good time and I do plan on getting back there in September if all goes well.

I got in after 11pm....soaking wet. Hard pounding rain, tinted helmet sheild, I-696...you can just imagine the level of fun. Almost went down on Garfield and 22..frickin wide strips of that dam reflective material the use at stop signs and lights....that woke me up!..woohoo:ridin:

Not sleeping, but still trying to dry off my stuff!

Well, I got back home last night in the damm rain.

The last 20 miles were very wet, but the last 10 miles were pretty horrible.

There was water 3 inches deep on Telegraph and 16 mile rd, plus what the cars threw up. The toes of my boots were dragging in the water, it was so deep.

I lost traction twice and going around the corners was very unpleasant! I endup up going about 20mph for much of the last 10 miles.

I ended up getting onto the back roads, in case I fell, I did not want to get run over.

The water was shooting out as though from a firehose on the downspouts of my house. Just a lot of rain!

However, all in all, I made it home unscathed.

I took some pics, but I have not looked at them.
See, Nelson should have gone, just to use his nice camera!
