That asshat cop that wrote 7,000 tickets will be in the national spot light.

Awesome. That whole thing is right by my house here at Lorraine and common. I always always stop at those stop signs because the cops are nazis there. Pass the cop station on my way to the gym 3 days a week...see cops blow those ALL the time.
Fouts is awesome tho. :D

What gets me about this guy is, all the people that have called in and said that they actually stopped and he still gave them a ticket.
Then when they went to court, the cop said he remembered them.
Now, I'm sure a lot of these people just rolled through the stop sign, but what I don't believe is that cop being able to remember each and everyone. there has got to be some people that got tickets for not stopping, and actually did.
And if you were to stop at that sign (now a yield) then inch forward slowly, and go when you see it clear. Did you stop? Yes. Cars used to be stopped about 3 deep past the sign. (see where I'm going with this?)
I'm not a fan to be honest.
I would like to see his time be put into something more safety orientated. I.E. crosswalks near schools. I almost took a kid out the other day. I was going through a light on 11 mile in front of Madison Heights school. It was green and the west bound traffic was just getting going from the light.
4 cars back a kid (maybe 12) popped out from behind one of the cars, right onto the double yellow, back pack in hand that swung out into the fast lane. The kid froze to keep from getting hit (like he had done this before).
I was in the slow lane, but it still scared the hell out of me.
That's where the cop needs to be sitting and writing these kids up for playing Frogger.
