If you're looking for a day trip, or an overnighter, they're doing the big annual Trackfest thing at Gingerman ( http://www.gingermanraceway.com/ ) this wknd.

As of last week....... the Weekend Itinerary:

-2 full track days including Novice, Intermediate and Advanced levels of riding. This will again be managed by our friends at Sportbike Tracktime. (Sat/Sun 9 am - 5 pm) Riders must register with Sportbike Track Time at www.sportbiketracktime.com (http://www.sportbiketracktime.com/).

- Ducati Duc Truck and rider hospitality area (Sat/Sun 9 am - 5 pm)

- Ducati Demo Rides (Sat/Sun 9 am - 5 pm)

- Off track group rides in the South Haven, Saugatuck region. (Sat/Sun 9 am - 5 pm) Groups are encouraged to ride farther and longer if desired. << (DRILL)

- Saturday night BBQ dinner (Sat. 6 pm-8pm)

- Live performance by the Orbitsuns Saturday night (Sat. 5:30 pm- 7:30 pm)

- Special TBA movie event by Red Bull Saturday night (Sat. 9:00 pm- 11:00 pm)
- Family Fun area (Sat/Sun 9 am - 5 pm)

- Umbrella Girl Experience (pics with your favorite umbrella girl) (Sat/Sun 9 am - 5 pm) $ 10 per picture. Photos courtesy of Split Second Photo. << (HOOSIER HOOLIGANS)

- Huge raffle on Saturday night. (Sat 9 am - 5 pm) Drawing during Orbitsuns performance, must be present to win.

- Vendor area with several vendors showing their wares (Sat/Sun 9 am - 5 pm) Rosenau Powersports, Life Cycle Ducati, Indy Ducati, Crooked River Cycles, Jordan Powersports, Metalsignwerks, and others.

- Ducati Concourse of Excellence bike display and competition (Sat/Sun 9 am - 5 pm) Voting concludes at 1 pm Sunday, awards presented at 2 pm. << (DESMOHIO)

- Exhaust sound off competition (Sun 12:00 pm - 1 pm) << (HOOSIER HOOLIGANS)

- Dynojet Dyno runs (Sat/Sun 9 am - 5 pm) $40.00 per run

You can camp there overnite, which is what I'm hoping to do.

Ah. Again, sorry.
But for those not looking for a track day event this wknd, but want to ride to something else (that just happens to be a track day!), this could also fit the bill, no?

True, it is a track day, but it is also a 'fest' that some may want to RIDE to... like I am. You could keep busy all day long with the non-track events gooing on.

Normally, I'd participate, but due to a recent hip replacement surgery, am sitting STT-TDs out for the rest of the year.
Hope to scrape puck again next year!

Since I can't over-stress the hip yet, I'm actually going to socialize with a few dozen aquaintences, maybe buy some stuff, do a demo ride or two, eat BBQ, listen the the Orbitsuns (great band :deathmetal: good tunage) and hope the RedBull Sat nite mystery movie is a good one.


Again, if out of line, simply delete... no harm done...
