Going Shooting 8/13

A buddy and I are meeting up to go try out Action Impact in Southfield. He just got his CCW but has not choosen a gun yet. So, I'm going to the range with him so he can try mine out. Everyone is welcome we will be getting there between 6 & 6;30 we should be there for about an hour or so.

He just got his CPL. If he had just gotten a CCW, that would mean he just got charged with carrying a concealed weapon.

No, Michigan used to have a CCW license but several years ago it was changed to a CPL.

I am pretty positive it is called a Concealed Pistol License, because I am looking at mine now.

Doesn't really matter though, we all knew what he meant, I was just bustin chops.

i do have a question though i am holding my michigan handbook and everywhere thoughout this thing they call it a ccw why is that???

I believe that Cage was correct that Michigan used to call it a CCW, but has recently changed the name to CPL. The literature was already printed, and the subject matter remained the same, so that is why you have the conflicting names. See, everybody is correct. Some of the older permit holders probably have one that says CCW on it.

I believe you apply for a CCW and you receive a CPL....I took a CCW class and test and received a CPL 3 years ago.:2cents:

I have a bike!
There is one part over there, and another part over in that other corner and one part in a box someplace, but if you put them all together, I have a bike!

One day, it will be up and running.
Seems a few parts came in without the necessary parts required for attachment.
Stupid pictures on the site! Who knew all the parts they show in the picture didn't come together?

And I have a little, tiny model of my bike, so there! :sissy:
