Lack of Red Wings coverage on TV

This is killing me. What's going on?

Game 4 8:00PM EDT only on VERSUS (HD),TSN (HD),RDS (HD).

For me the kicker is the only way to get VERSUS is through the digital package of our cable (WideOpenWest). TSNl hasn't been showing the games even when they've scheduled it. I think we have some relatives that may get VERSUS. Other than that its the bar.

I just hope the Finals will be shown on TSN. That way won't have to go to the bar for them too.

Did ESPN ever carry NHL or have they just dropped them since the strike?

No point really it just sucks imo.

i switched from direct tv to comcast. i hated dtv with a passion, id rather sell my 1krr and buy a 250 ninja before getting dtv again. but my dvr comcast box is pretty dayum slow, it doesnt have enough dvr storage, and has a few "glitches" more often than not. but for the high speed internet (8mb connection), modem rental, 1 dvr box, hd channels all for 89.00 a month, i cant beat it.

yup, i get all the fsn channels, speed channel, verses, all espn's. the only channel i dont get is FUEL tv. thats the only channel i really miss. i cant watch snowboarding all yr long, fuel tv is a totally action sports channel. right up my alley. dtv has that channel, and comcast doesnt.

Over here, Comcast has the Wings game on Versus on channel 71. It is the "regular" channel.

However, channel 207 is the Digital channel for Versus and the game does not come on that channel, although they channel displays that little "channel will be shown presently" tag.

Annoying.

I think Comcast is the only company in the area that has Versus in their basic lineup, but you do have to have the digi package to get the HD VS channel. I know with WOW! you have to have the digi package to get it at all...Get used to it though...Versus just resigned for like 4 more years to cover the Stanley Cup Playoffs and select regular season games...I think the actual Stanley Cup Finals will be nationally televised on either Fox or NBC...nice move by the NHL to go to Versus considering nobody has the damn channel...good way to get exposure of the game out there to boost popularity...a few of the players have openly stated their displeasure with that including Chris Chelios

NBC will pick up some of the weekend games and I think the finals will be on NBC or Fox.

its all steinbrener's fault.. he started this bullshit.. i hate it.. i had to pop $18 a month for upgraded service just to get versus.. i had 95 channels of nothing now i have 195 channels of nothing.. cable companies suck ass..

I think my Comcast Guide selection shows 950 or so channels.
As I skim through them, I find only a few that I would even be interested in.

I cannot imagine what Comcast would charge for all 950 channels and I have zero interest in finding out but Mudpuppy is right, nothing really worth watching.
