That all began to change with the introduction of Honda's 2003 CBR 600RR. The CBR has been around in one form or another since the original Hurricane introduced back in 1987, but for the 2003 model year, Big Red saw the 600 market heating up so it left the drawing boards with a revolutionary new middleweight machine.
