This is going to be a fun one also.
Let me start with this. The child didn't drink enough (imho) to do any long term harm. I think he didn't even finish it.
With that said, I find this somewhat funny.

I feel for everyone involved, but to be totally honest. I know people that wouldn't know that Mike's Hard Lemonade is an adult beverage.
Should this be washed under the rug? No, not at all.
Should the kid have been yanked out of his home and forced into foster care? Absolutely not.
Any reasonable person would have been able to talk to the Dad on the spot and figure out it was a mistake.
