Unfortunately not a sporty one, but it's fun to ride.

Pic#1: 02' XVS 1100 V-star Classic, Cobra Exhaust, so it's plenty loud at least!!!
Pic #2 & #3: You probably never saw my old bike do anything like this while I was up in Michigan. Last fall in TN
Pic #4: The usual:squid2: Yes it was a wheelie on Deals Gap, no I wasn't going around the corner, yes it was in First Gear Pop-A-Whoolie, and I was already setting it down, I was only going 10mph-ish? Yes I did it for the camera!!!!!!:eyebrows:

Hey Erik!

I had that SAME V-Star...what a great bike. Although I felt it was underpowered for long cruises, I felt that bike was more of a commuter than a tourer. But what a comfortable ride and a great bike. My next cruiser will likely be an 1800 in a VTX.

Good to hear from you again. How is the married life??

Married life has it's up's and down's, but overall pretty good.

So far I'm real happy with the bike. I think it'll hold 75mph pretty well, with the windshield and 2-up. I just put a jet-kit in this weekend, and it's really smoothed out the top end shakes, the low-range vibration/tugging I got when I loaded it up. I just have a little tweaking to do with the mixture screws and I should be good. I've ridden the VTX1800, friend of my dad's bike, and it's nice power, but I thought it had a horrible ride as far as stiffness. You hit any chuck-hole you're going to feel it in your spine. Still a great handling bike.
